Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking or using any services provided by Curbside Garage LLC. By scheduling an appointment, using our website, or engaging our mobile auto care services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About Curbside Garage
Curbside Garage LLC (“Curbside Garage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile auto care company registered in the State of Illinois, providing on-site vehicle maintenance and detailing services to customers in Rockford, Illinois and surrounding communities. Our services are performed at locations designated by the customer, including residential driveways, workplace parking lots, and other agreed-upon sites.
2. Services
Curbside Garage offers mobile auto care services including but not limited to oil changes, battery replacement, brake services, detailing, headlight restoration, fleet maintenance, wiper blade replacement, filter replacement, tire rotation, spark plug replacement, and complimentary fluid and tire air top-offs.
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion, including when safety concerns, vehicle condition, or access limitations make it impractical or unsafe to perform the requested service at the customer’s chosen location.
Service estimates and timeframes are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Completion times may vary based on vehicle condition, weather, and other factors beyond our control.
3. Booking and Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled through our website, by phone, by text, or by email. By booking an appointment, you confirm that:
- You are the registered owner of the vehicle or have authority from the owner to authorize service.
- You will provide accurate vehicle information including year, make, model, and any known issues relevant to the service.
- The service location is accessible, safe, and legally permissible for vehicle maintenance to be performed.
- You or an authorized representative will be reachable during the appointment window.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated no-shows or same-day cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future bookings at our discretion.
4. Pricing and Payment
Service pricing consists of a base labor fee plus the cost of parts and materials used. Pricing is communicated at the time of booking or prior to service commencement. Final pricing may vary from initial estimates if additional issues are discovered during service, in which case we will notify you and obtain approval before proceeding.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless a separate payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods as posted on our website.
Fleet and commercial clients may be invoiced on terms agreed in writing prior to service. Invoices not paid within the agreed period may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible and available at the agreed time and location.
- Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and any existing conditions or prior repairs.
- Disclose any known hazards associated with the vehicle or service location.
- Ensure pets, children, and other individuals remain at a safe distance from the work area during service.
- Not hold Curbside Garage responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during, but not caused by, our service.
6. Limitation of Liability
Curbside Garage LLC carries general liability insurance and garage keepers liability coverage. In the event of damage caused directly by our negligence during service, we will work with you to address the issue in good faith.
However, Curbside Garage shall not be liable for:
- Pre-existing damage, wear, or mechanical issues present before service was performed.
- Damage resulting from undisclosed vehicle conditions or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of use, lost income, or vehicle depreciation.
- Delays caused by weather, traffic, supply unavailability, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Issues arising from parts supplied by the customer.
Our total liability in any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Warranty
Curbside Garage stands behind our workmanship. If you experience an issue directly related to a service we performed, please contact us within 30 days of the service date and we will assess and address the concern at no additional charge, subject to our review.
This warranty covers labor performed by Curbside Garage technicians. Parts and materials are subject to manufacturer warranties where applicable. Warranty is void if the vehicle has been serviced by another provider for the same issue after our service.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Curbside Garage website including text, graphics, logos, images, and service descriptions is the property of Curbside Garage LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
Our website and booking system may include links or integrations with third-party platforms including payment processors and scheduling tools. Curbside Garage is not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Winnebago County, Illinois.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Curbside Garage LLC regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior understandings or agreements.
